Cleaning a Fridge

If you are responsible for cleaning fridges, you need to empty the contents of the fridge and put it into another fridge if you can. If you can’t, just make sure that you leave the food in a hygienic area and clean the fridge quickly and efficiently, as you can’t leave the food out in the danger zone for long.

• Start by taking out the shelves and any other removable parts
• Wash the inside of the fridge using hot water and detergent
• Rinse the surfaces with clean water
• And then dry them with a clean paper towel
• Then wash the shelves and any other removable parts using hot water and detergent
• And again, rinse them with clean water and dry them with a clean paper towel
• Put the shelves back in the fridge
• And then return the food to the correct shelves inside the fridge
